John Burgess
Senior Principal/ Director
John is an experienced professional within the mining industry, a process and environmental engineer with over 40 years' of extensive base metal experience in operations within Australia and Northern Africa. He consulted to Zinifex Limited - Century Mine and on various nickel, copper and gold operations, and has held positions as Manager of Metallurgy and Environment at Broken Hill and General Manager of the Renison Tin Mine. He has extensive experience both nationally and internationally in project management, statutory approvals, commissioning; lead, zinc, silver, tin, nickel, copper and gold plants, and he managed the successful approval and commissioning of the Angas Zinc Mine in South Australia. John is currently responsible for achieving the necessary statutory approvals, developing the Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) and developing the EPC contract with respect to Rex Minerals Hillside operation.
Jol Jardine
Senior Principal/ Manager Mining
Jol has over 24 years of experience working on a broad range of projects in the mining engineering field with significant emphasis on the development and project management of mining operations throughout Australia. He has directed a number of highly successful, high profile mine start-ups. Jol has built a reputation as a practical mining professional capable of creating wealth for mining companies and improving working conditions for miners. He prides himself on his ability to add value to the operations at which he is involved and to the industry through application of good practice and engineering expertise. His unrelenting focus on continuous improvement in safety and performance reflects in his ability to draw a strong team of experienced operators to various projects.
Jol is competent in the use of a range of mine design and scheduling packages and holds a Western Australian First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency.
